7.17 子曰：“加我数年，五十以学《易》1，可以无大过矣。”

孔子说：“给我增加几年寿命，让我在五十岁的时候去学《易》，就可以没有大的过失了。”

【English Translation】
Confucius said: “If a few more years could be added to my life, I can study the Book of Changes more thoroughly at the age of fifty, then I would not have any big faults.”
